Days Inn by Wyndham Sandusky / Cedar Point

Not the best hotel in Sandusky, but definitely far from being the worst! Good value, clean rooms, and AC worked well. Yes, the room was humid when we checked in but as soon as we turned on the AC it got better very quickly. The filters on the unit were clean and we didn’t struggle with any allergy issues due to dust blowing around. Did the carpet have some stains and the walls have some dings? Yes. But overall the room was clean and comfortable. Don’t let the bad reviews here keep you from staying at this very budget-friendly and clean hotel close to Cedar Point!

I’d say the best thing about this place is it’s clean. But besides that could use some improvement. Their “excellent breakfast” was the worst inclusive breakfast I’ve ever had. It was literally yogurt, toast, bagels, plain cereals, and bananas. They did have a waffle maker but it was out of order. No eggs, sausage, bacon, potatoes, pancakes, French toast, or anything of the sort. It was literally just plain pantry food. Not worth it. And it closed at 9? Why close so early if they don’t have to do any work for it? It’s all dry food that just sits there. Nothing they have ti prep or take care of.

Positive: Absolutely nothing. The entire thing was awful and dirty. Negative: We had 4 rooms in 2 days. Issues include no shower available in the room, handicap accessibility, floors soaked with water, a shower faucet that could not be turned off, and moldy liquid under the fridge that wasnt working.

Place is filthy. Maybe a truck driver or two stays here. Smells like weed and cigarettes. Poorly ran. I do not reccomend. We left and went to Great Wolf. Even got a better rat

Far too overpriced for a dumpy roadside motel experience. Internet did not work except in small spurts, breakfast was a disgusting waffle maker and nasty juice. Beds were uncomfortable throw pillows. Rooms had one end table for a king bed which I have not saw before. Everything was very low effort and cheap for how overpriced it was. Won’t stay here for our work event in the years to come.
