Days Inn by Wyndham Redwood City

I would rate this property zero stars if that were an option. While I take some responsibility for allowing this booking, this experience was far below any reasonable standard of cleanliness, safety, or hospitality. This was one of the worst lodging experiences I have ever had, and I am writing this review to warn others. From the moment I arrived late at night, it was clear the property is severely outdated and poorly maintained. The lobby was unwelcoming, and the staff appeared disengaged and unhappy to be there. After check-in, I was directed to park behind the building, where parking was extremely limited. The area felt unsafe, with people loitering and wandering the property. The hotel was not in best of what I thought was a good area. The parking was awful it was in the back.  Not in front of the rooms.  Going into the room it was a strong smell of some kind of cleaning supplie from what I could think of. It has dirty soap dispensers  and the shampoo dispenser was empty.  The beds were both way different in size and one was high than the other it was way off.  Also so cosmetic fixtures were not good to the eye.  It did the job for the night but it was a little weird the beds were not the same.

Bed sheets were not clean upon arrival, some crumbs and dirt, blood staining on pillows, ants in the bathroom, water damage/leaky bathroom ceiling, roaches in the room as well. Some dead some alive, and last of all paper thin walls... glad I brought my ear plugs

Friendly front desk, efficient check in. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Room was clean. Breakfast is pretty basic. Overall a good experience for a budget motel. Location was good for my meeting in Menlo Park.

Absolutely love this hotel! Huge rooms, CLEAN ROOMS / PROPERTY ! awesome staff very friendly and helpful , good housekeeping staff, decent price rooms! Good location! Highly recommend this hotel!
