Days Inn by Wyndham Plattsburgh

I stayed here overnight after arriving at LaQuinta to find their hot tub broken, and the staff at the Days Inn front desk answered all my questions without a blink. she had good recommendations for placess to eat for my birthday dinner with my son who I was dropping off at SUNY Plattsburgh after Thanksgiving break. The breakfast had lots of choices; including cereal, oatmeal, fruit, hard boiled eggs, pancakes, sausage, scrambled eggs, an assortment of pastries, muffins, bagels and breads, coffee, tea etc. It was good not great, but very clean and the staff were friendly and didnt rush me when i came down later than most after soaking in their hot tub before i had to start driving in winter storm weather conditions. What a poor experience! No shower curtain. Even after asking for one. The restroom not restocked with toilet paper. Sink in the bathroom was clogged. Was unable to drain the sink. Beds were not at all comfortable. Breakfast wasn’t even great eggs soggy hash soggy bacon also soggy. Juice dispenser watered down the juice so it didn’t even taste like juice but more of a flavored water. Highly disappointed in this stay. Also the cleaning could be a lot better!!

This is my second time in this hotel with my wife, very nice to be back there. The receptionists are very attentive. I thank everyone there for their attention. Great location. Easy check-in effort with friendly staff. Room was clean and well-maintained.The experience at this establishment surpassed all our expectations! Great value for the price. I was a little hesitant after seeing the mixed reviews but I’m glad I took a chance. The room and sheets were very clean. You can definitely tell it’s an old Holiday Inn but that’s not a bad thing. The bathroom was on the small side but the room itself was a good size. Great location near stores and restaurants. I would definitely stay here again.

Man at the front desk was not the nicest. The hallways were dimly lit & the hotel is very outdated. The pool is huge but water was nasty… couldn’t even see the bottom was so cloudy. My kids said the bottom was slimy. Just crusty overall the pool area. The elevator is small & sketchy. Preferred to take the stairs. Our first room we could not open the door with our key, the housekeeping eventually opened it, but the man who wasn’t the nicest said to switch the room. (Before housekeeping got it open) I refused to deal with the door issue so I went down to change the room & he seemed to have a problem with the offer he suggested. The room was pretty clean but the beds were noisy and not comfy. There was a huge dip in the mattress so I kept sinking in & it wasn’t a good sleep. The only thing I
