Days Inn by Wyndham Ormond Beach

So the pics online do not reflect the current state of this hotel. It looks like it has storm damage and everything needs to be replaced. The location was perfect and the staff was very friendly but could not stay. The room I got was not clean and had water leaking, there were many rooms under construction but this place should be closed for renovations.

Positive: Nothing Negative: Everything, there were cockroaches crawling around. There were three of us and not enough towels for two. There was no cleaning done during our stay. We had to get our own additional toilet paper. It smelled terribly and we started getting sick there.

The gentleman who checked us in was absolutely wonderful. After that, the stay went down the drain. The door jam had been busted in and not fixed. There was no power in the wall needed for the television, refrigerator, and microwave. We bought an extension cord to at least have the tv for noise. There are HUGE cockroaches. The towels were stained brown. Our socks are ruined because the floor is that filthy. The mattress has a huge dent. There are drug deals outside your room late at night into the early morning (4am). The druggies let their kids ranging from ages 2-12 roam the parking lot until 4:30 am - no shoes or shirts. We tried to call the front desk several times about it with no answer until 4:10am. Believe everything you see about this hotel. It is absolutely awful. We switched rooms 3 times and this was as good as it got. Considering other family members horror stories during this same stay, we lucked out. These pictures are not an exaggeration. The only positive was the lady at the front desk. She did all she could as best she could by herself. However, book at your own risk.

Pleasant Check in. Grounds are kept decently clean. Room was clean and beds were super soft and comfortable. Sink had Really Hot water, which I'm very thankfully for. TV was enormous and mounted on the wall. Furniture was adequate, as was the rest of the room. Plenty of lighting. Daily Price was great and weekly price is very fair. My only problem is that they have cancelled the morning cold breakfast I was looking forward to... Other than that perfect for someone on low budget.
