Days Inn by Wyndham Aiken - Interstate Hwy 20

Customer Service was excellent. Sweet and friendly. I asked the receptionist if I could get a carpet room cause my 8 month old likes to crawl around and she helped us out. Was greatly appreciated. Room smelt good when we walked in. The air conditioner/heater was working when we walked in but then stopped working after awhile. Went to the front desk and called them. They said maintenance would come fix it. Maintenance never came. The next morning the maintenance man showed up and told us he was "too tired" to come look at it. Also, while I was going through my suitcase a ROACH BUG was crawling on my clothes!! Figured they fixed their bug problem with stuff around the walls. We did ask to talk with the owner on several occasions cause we wanted to ask him about weekly rates but we were alway

It was after midnight when I checked in. The receptionist was most kind and helpful. The room was very clean and spacious. The king bed was comfortable. The water nice and hot. A great variety of tv channels. Blessedly dark curtains and quiet with a generous checkout time. Microwave and spacious refrigerator. A very lucky find after a long day.

Safety codes broken and violated with time stamps after asking for a smoke detector, and a non working toilet with a sign that’s is old, but the refuse to use funds we pay to stay to fix. Steer clear, two time stamps where they knew about missing smoke detector, asked for one installed, they acknowledged but never brought one to room. I would use washcloths that looks dirty. Microwave is rusted which the metal is exposed. There’s a coding inside of a microwave for a reason and that is to keep the metal from being hazardous and leaking, but this microwave seems to have that it needs to be thrown in the trashcan, but I’m sure it won’t be. And I don’t know who is writing a review saying that this is good or is clean if they are saying that they are falsifying, and on top of that it will make

Stayed overnight because of car troubles. Friendly receptionist. Older hotel but updated and clean. Waffle House in walking distance. Area seemed safe and friendly folks. Would stay again.

Older structure, but updated. Pleasant, clean, oderless room, comfortable bed, adequate breakfast. Fine for an overnight rest on the way south. Good value.
