We are new to the RV life & absolutely loved our time here! The location in relation to the things we wanted to do was perfect. It was about 20-30 to Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse, and Wind Cave. Al, the owner was outstanding. He was friendly & helpful in giving us some great pointers for backing up into our next spot.

What a great find! We showed up after dark and I'm a little challenged in backing my rig, so Dan helped us in.My hubby and I are primarily boondockers (no hookups of any kind). We don't like to pay the price for the extra amenities that we simply don't need. This campground was perfect for us, so we stayed for more than 2 weeks. Megan and Dan, the owners checked on us daily to offer us fresh water which they readily delivered along with some great info on things to do in the area. They even provided maps! The sunrises and sunsets are fantastic and there is a great paved bike trail from the campground to town where I walked daily to buy groceries or to simply take in all that this cute little town of Custer had to offer. It's all only a half mile away! Thank you for such a wonderful sta

We made a last minute decision to stop for the night at an RV Park with hookups after leaving Yellowstone National Park on our journey home and are SO glad we did! Dan and Megan were so friendly and accommodating. Right off highway 16A just outside of town. This quaint family owned Park was exactly what we were looking for! There was a carnival going on in town and when we woke up in the morning the sky was riddled with hot air balloons which blew our 5 year old daughters mind. While I was packing some stuff up she was playing outside, a little while later I see a text on my phone, Megan had taken a few pictures of our daughter with the hot air balloons in the background and sent them to me. May not have even crossed her mind but that was so thoughtful! Really enjoyed our overnight stay he

Affordable, friendly dry camping. My son and I stayed for the summer. Good wifi. Wifi works for conference calls. Paved city walking trail system just off the property. It's a half mile to town. Stayed parked in camp and walked to town for the carnival. This camp has a front row seat to the city's 4th of July fireworks show. Duke, the dog, is the unofficial welcoming committee. Woke up to periodic hot air ballons overhead. Deer, geese, and coyotes visit nearby. Custer State Park with larger wildlife up the road. About 44 min to Rapid City. If you just need a safe place to park for the night, this is the place. Photos a mix of the camp and views from the walking trail. The owners are very down-to-earth, and I would definitely stay here again.

Dan and Megan (and Duke) were the best , nicest people you could meet. When we got there they actually did have a site open that had 30A power available and allowed us to use it even though it wasn't promised initially. Only bathroom were portajohns but they get cleaned thoroughly daily. We stayed 4 days. Campground is close to Mt Rushmore and Crazy horse, was about 1.5/hr into Sturgis but that was ok with us. Had a really good experience and will be back if we visit SD again. Much recommended if you only need dry camping. Thanks guys!!
