Courtyard by Marriott Tarrytown Westchester County

My family and I visit NYC twice a year and the past few times we stayed at this hotel. Majority of the staff is nice and bring with them a level of hospitality that is unmatched. Whitney is the most amazing. She is always helpful, and WILLING to go out of her way to ensure we have all we need. Her smile and warmth and dedication to her work is truly recommendable. We needed extra towels and requested a microwave and she told us “ she wanted to ensure that we have all we needed to make our stay as comfortable as possible”. She is never annoyed at any of our request. She is top notch!

I travel a lot with my older parents and aunt (in their 90's) and I always ask for rooms close to the lobby to make it easier and 99% of the time other hotels never give us close rooms even if I ask way in advance. This hotel did!!! It was so helpful. Whitney at the front desk went out of her way to help me out to make our trip so much easier. She was AWESOME, friendly and kind. This hotel was clean , the beds were so comfortable and the woman bartender was friendly too! Will for sure recommend this place and will stay here again. Also, close to Sleepy Hollow and everything else!!!

Positive: The hotel staff check-in. Negative: The elevator is at the far end of the hotel. We should have been told that one flight of steps would have been an easier trek than walking all the way to the elevator just to walk back to the front of the hotel.

The hotel was average overall, but the team members were friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, the bathrooms are outdated and in need of renovation. The toilet water level was unusually high, which made it very uncomfortable to use. Updating the bathrooms would significantly improve the guest experience.

This is worst hotel I've ever stayed in for the money. This hotel will set you back 200 to 300 a night and it's a nasty mess inside. I'm a Marriott Bonvoy Member and I travel extensively. The elevator is comical. Super long walk from the check in desk to a busted up old elevator in the opposite corner of the building. My room smelled strongly of cigarettes and I could not stand it and changed rooms. The thermostat doesn't work properly and the temp indicated has no relation to the inside temp. It was either horrible cold or blazing hot. No in between. The front desk staff were not kind or helpful and I basically gave up trying to get a receipt. I would never stay here again, in fact, I would cancel my business trip next time if this was the only property available. They clearly
