Courtyard by Marriott St. Louis Westport Plaza

I was very disappointed in my stay during Valentines Day. I booked this room through Booking.com and when I made the reservation it said I would get a free breakfast but when I went the the restaurant they said they didn't see anything which is hard to see anything when they didn't even look. When we arrived to our room it was absolutely freezing inside. The bed was uncomfortable. The staff was I guess professional but far from friendly.

This hotel had everything that we needed. Our room was clean and our stay was quiet. Our daughter slept on the chair instead of pulling out the sofa bed, but it worked out fine. Using our phones to control the tv was a first for us, but we appreciated less items touched. The front desk staff were kind and helpful. We will keep this hotel in mind for future St. Louis stays.

My recent stay at the Courtyard by Marriott left me feeling a bit underwhelmed. I was quite surprised when they informed me there would be a charge for a toothbrush and toothpaste 😕. Having traveled extensively, from budget motels and hostels to high-end luxury establishments, a complimentary dental kit has always been a standard amenity for me. This definitely left a sour taste 😒. While the food options around the hotel weren't particularly inspiring 🍽️, I won't hold that against them too much, as it's not always within the hotel's direct control. Service was decent 🌟, and the location was convenient for my business trip 📍🏢. Overall, an okay experience, but the small charge for essential toiletries was a letdown 😔.

This is our "go to" hotel while staying in St. Louis. The hotel is spotless, modern and well maintained. The rooms are very comfortable and large, and we particularly like the patios off the room facing the courtyard on the first floor. The grounds are clean and very well maintained. The best part of our stay has always been the very professional, friendly and helpful staff, particularly Gwendoline, who saved us from disaster. We had booked reservations at another hotel, but at the last moment, had to change locations, so we arrived late on a Sunday afternoon at Courtyard, with no reservations. Gwendoline was exceptionally nice, knowledgeable, and very helpful in finding us a room for a week long stay, getting us checked in, and doing everything she could to help us. We have never had a be

Nice and quiet. Even the connecting room we had. Friendly staff. Website says pet friendly but it is not. Service animals are acceptable of course. Power outlets accommodate USB B and C chargers.
