Courtyard by Marriott St. Augustine I-95

I tried with no success to resolve issues before posting this review. Front desk, customer service.... no response. The hotel is recently renovated so tnt lobby smells clean. Despite checking in with the app I had to go back twice for a new key. Then the bed wasn't ready. Had to go back to the lobby because rule room phone didn't work. Got in the room and there's stops of blood on the bathroom floor! Tired and just wanting to sleep for the 6 or 7 hours we have left before morning I try to clean it up. But wait, there's more, the soaps in the shower are EMPTY. I welcome communication from the site or parent company of this dive because my attempts to contact before this review were ignored.

Remodel is almost finished. Our remodeled room (3rd floor) was well done and good size. Bathroom is nice too. Please improve the water pressure in the shower!!! Bistro in lobby or walk to Bojangles next door.

Very disappointing stay. The beds were extremely uncomfortable, and there was no soap provided in the bathroom. Parking was a nightmare — even around 10 PM there was no available parking due to construction, with no warning or alternatives offered. The downstairs open-layout WOMEN bathrooms were completely unacceptable: no stalls, no toilet paper, and no running water or SOAP. This is basic hygiene and should never be an issue at a hotel. The night staff was awful. The woman working overnight was not helpful at all and took five minutes just to acknowledge me at the desk — this happened multiple times. The only positive part of this hotel was Morgan. He was incredibly kind, helpful, and genuinely sweet — the only good experience during the entire stay. Unfortunately, one great employee

we stayed there for three nights, my daughter and I. When we check out we found out that we were not only charged taxes for each night but a bad tax for each night. Of course they don’t tell you that when you make the reservation we were shocked that our bill for three nights was over $700 we will never stay there again. There was also no microwave in the rooms. I expected more you could tell the hotel is old but while the carpeting was good, the baseboards were off and there was a lot of work to be done on the inside. I can honestly say the beds were not comfortable for that price.

Positive: "" Negative: they charge for smoke at the room and i never somoke in my life - also the charge one extra room for a pet , and when i did the reservation thy don't said nothing about that, just said the hotel is pet fruiendly
