Courtyard by Marriott St. Augustine Beach

You can't beat the location in relation to the beach and Downtown St. Augustine! We visited during Christmas week 2025, and while we understand it's a busy time of the year, we could have had better attention to housekeeping needs. The requests via app were never completed, and we had to either call or visit the front desk to get towels and other amenities like coffee packets, cups, and soap. The elevator was very slow, again, to be expected. Great sized room for a family of 4 adults! and we liked the pool side view every morning. Free water cups are available in the lobby, which were essential for our morning coffees. Could have been a bit cleaner, but overall okay. Thoroughly disappointing. No housekeeping. Room was nice but public spaces in the hotel look like they're under maintenance, but there's no indication that they are. Paint chipping, floorboards removed. ||Swimming pool is ice cold. Outdoor temperature 47° f. Pool still open. Free parking, a plus. ||This hotel is not convenient to historic St Augustine. Don't mistake St Augustine Beach for St Augustine Florida. They're two different places about 20 mi apart. I'm not saying St Augustine Beach is not a good place, it's just not a great place to visit in the winter. Prices here were significantly lower than in St Augustine.

Very impressive hotel on many accounts. The lobby, social areas, and parking lot are all very clean. The desk clerk was a gentleman and did a great job. The rooms themselves are really comfortable, and well designed. The noise you hear in the hallway and other rooms doesn't really exist, as most is dampened. If we stop into this area again, we will likely stay at this hotel.

Positive: "" Negative: Charged a $15 per night parking fee that was not disclosed or expected. Understaffed at the front desk. Arrives early and one lady working desk and constantly had a line from 3 to 10 customers from before to during peak check in times. She was wonderful

If you love being hung up on, and having the team be exceptionally rude to you, then I highly recommend this hotel. They don’t understand what customer service means, and truly do not care about your experience Absolute worst customer service ever. It truly makes me sad as I love the Marriott brand, but you can see things are just going downhill as far as guest relations go.
