Courtyard by Marriott Lakeland

I was disappointed in the price gouging from this company. $210 for an 11 hour stay. Checked in at 930pm left at 830am. I had to change rooms 10 minutes in as the refrigerator didn't work. Then the room they changed me to had stains on the couch. Gross.

Never again! I stay mostly Courtyards and Marriotts but always within the brand. This has to be hands down the worst I have ever stayed at. There is an abundance of mold in the stairwells and I have seen 3 roaches in my room which were dispatched instantly. The elevator is dirty with dirt in the corners in the floor. Pictures of the mold are included but you can't see the roaches after they were squished on the floor. I will never stay at this location again!

The room was clean. The air conditioner sucked. The room was moist. And the service I received in the restaurant was terrible.the first night The bartender told me she could only make one or two things on the menu due to the fact that she didn’t know where anything was and gave me lime juice with my corona because they didnt have limes. The second night, same thing with the restaurant and instead of giving me lime juice, she suggested that I walk next-door to Chili’s and get my own limes and come back. And set it with a smile on her face as if this is a joke. I picked this restaurant because it was the only one in vicinity with a restaurant. I drove an extra 30 minutes to get here. I did it for no reason. I will not return to this hotel, I don’t pay eight dollars a beer to supply the line

The room was fine. The cleanliness factor was fine. Would've killed to know what was in the coffee pots - was it regular? was it decaf? was it..... dunno. And how hard is it to have some vanilla creamers? Half and Half and sugar. The bistro is nice... it offers counter space for the prepackaged food. Meh, the hotel served it's purpose adequately but in this business I'd think that's not a great review.

The place was okay. The rooms were okay. The couch in room looked disgusting with all kinds of various stains. The service from the front desk was incredible and so nice! But the one lady from the kitchen staff where you order breakfast was amazingly nasty and rude. Not the shorter lady the bigger taller one. And the breakfast they service for the most part isn't even cooked. They essentially microwave it, you pay, eat and it's cool in the middle. 5.6/10
