Courtyard by Marriott Dayton North

We stayed at the Courtyard Dayton North while traveling through Dayton to go to the National Museum of the Air Force. The hotel appears to be an older property but nice with a bar in the lobby. The bar tender seems to do more than bartend as she was only at the bar occasionally while we were seated there. Drinks were rather expensive. There were guest playing cards in the lobby and people smoking outside the entrance. The room was comfortable and spacious. We were on the top floor by and office. The hallway had a distinct smell of marijuana. The staff was pleasant and very helpful. We would consider this hotel again.

Christy was the young lady who checked us in at the hotel extremely nice professional understanding. We had already paid for holiday Inn express and was very disappointed was told they didn't have any hot water, now have to wait to get refunded so decided to try Marriott courtyard that was near by wish I would have started here in the first place I highly recommend Marriott courtyard on miller lane dayton ohio christy made our stay great wonderful lady. I highly recommend this hotel , and Christ y she a happy lady she makes you feel welcome Hotel very clean beds comfortable and clean .

Positive: It was clean, safe, and affordable Negative: I didn't see a continental breakfast, and I thought there was one. It wasn't a big deal, just thought it was worth mentioning.

Shout out to the maintenance man, Shawn. Who happens to be on duty during our weekend stay at the Marriott, during this horrific snow storm. He was compassionate and respectful. Hard working young man who has shoveled the driveway several times, he isn’t afraid to get his hands dirty and was a call away when we needed some assistance. I hope your hard work never goes unnoticed. I would recommend the Marriott here in the Dayton area to all my peers. Thank you again Shawn for making our stay here phenomenal!
