Courtyard by Marriott Augusta

The rate per night was a little more than I wanted to spend but I go here knowing that the room will be clean, quiet environment and accommodating. There's a microwave and fridge in the rooms as well. My daughter is in Augusta often from Warner Robins Ga for doctors appointments so we choose this hotel everytime. The peace and quiet and comfort was just what she needed after surgery.

Clean, quiet, but bed linens need improvement. Also disappointed this hotel has no elevator so if you’re on the second floor you’re lugging your luggage upstairs. The mattress cover was old and lumpy which caused an uncomfortable sleep. Also the top sheet was a queen size on our king-size bed so barely fit over the sides of the bed. Other than that it was a nice hotel as I said clean and quiet. Service was quick when we asked for extra towels and extra pillows.

We stayed at this Courtyard Marriott for 4 nights, and unfortunately housekeeping was a major disappointment. Despite requesting room cleaning during our stay, our room was never serviced. When we followed up, housekeeping only brought fresh towels and washcloths and removed the used ones, but the room itself was not cleaned at all...no bed made, no trash emptied, no general upkeep. For a multi-night stay, this level of service fell well below expectations, especially for a Marriott property. The lack of proactive housekeeping and follow-through after requests made the stay less comfortable than it should have been. This experience definitely needs improvement.

After a long drive, we arrived here around 8 PM and were exhausted. We were greeted by Cia (possibly Tia) and she was extremely friendly and professional. Her welcoming attitude brightened up our arrival and it warranted this review. With that being said, everyone working there were friendly, and it made for a very nice experience. Jerry at the front desk when we checked out reinforced that positive attitude. Everything else with the hotel was very nice as well. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Will be staying there again the next time we are in Augusta.

Glad we didn't see bed bugs after checked in & had such poor front desk service we looked at reviews below But, truly 8 30pm, not 1 quarter occupied. We had to do everything twice upon arrival. Parked near front due to empty, wooded back where our room located. I pasted desk clerk 2 trips & she was on cell....whatever. 3rd trip to lobby to buy water and I left my key in room. She asked her cell phone n person to hold billed water. I asked for a key as my husband was in shower she said "ain't he in the room" I guess she likes evening shift to handle her chatting. 4 other same looking hotels Id try another one next
