Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Saraland, AL

Clean, quiet, comfortable and secure. I especially respected these sparkling clean pool although the weather was a bit too cool for a dip. The breakfast was prepared on time and looked good with omelettes sausage, potatoes or grits and waffles. The coffee was always available. Cookies seem to be always available at the front desk. My only disappointment was the TV channels were hard to navigate. The staff were always friendly and available . There were several restaurants available nearby. The drive to Mobile, is very short and quick. A welcome oasis from the hectic Mobile area. My only reason for leaving a four instead of a five is the quality of TV channels and channel labeling, and the fact that I found my microwave and refrigerator both unplugged when I occupied the room. I booked this stay expecting something closer to Holiday Inn standards, but it felt more like a budget motel experience. The property seemed outdated and not as clean or well-maintained as advertised. The only redeeming quality was the breakfast — it was actually solid and the best part of the stay. Unfortunately, that alone wouldn’t be enough for me to return.

I had not stayed at a Country Inn in a while, but found it familiar. Welcoming lobby and friendly desk clerks. Hotel is old but overall in good shape. Love the location which feels tucked away and quiet. TONS of food options and right off of I-65 which makes it easy to hit the road the next day. Breakfast was typical for these days. Breakfast lady was very kind and helpful and kept everything well stocked. For the price I would certainly stay here again as a place to rest my head for the night.

Hotel was nice enough. Our room smelled very musty. They did not have another room for us so we had to put up with the smell. Was only there for one night so we lived with it. The hot breakfast was good.

Room smelled. Whole hotel smelled. Carpet very dirty and stained. Room smelled like "foot odor". Rooms and hallway need complete refurbishment. Location a bit sketchy feeling. Employees I interacted with were pleasant and friendly. Main complaint is smokers bench right outside the ONLY entrance. Guests and employees smoking constantly. Including weed smells. To enter or exit had to walk through a cloud of noxious cancer causing smoke. Would not recommend for that reason alone
