Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Louisville East, KY

I’ve stayed here 3 times as they are currently renovating all rooms. The desk agent Anna was very polite and respectful and yes, at first I was confused with the cash deposit but they no longer allowing that to happen. I love the fact that the rooms I was in the mattress is new and the carpets as well, there’s no smoke scent as I have asthma and hate to smell Smokey rooms. Only complaint the construction noises were still going on after 6pm and they had bed frames in the elevator unattended when customer were in there and that could have be an accident if the frames ever fell on us.

breakfast was always the same. the desk chair was horrible and for someone who works in the room , sometimes the whole day. this wrecked my back. I asked to swap with another chair/ desk chair there was no accommodation. I know that the hotel was booked but people check out and in daily. there should have been some type of solution. ripped tattered towels, less towels given out than i started with and I didnt walk off with them. lol a good points -- everything worked lights,tv, remote, AC, Water, drains refrige, microwave. -- they cleaned rooms daily and the The room was clean. -- I was able to be in a quiet and relaxing, comfortable room. Thx

If you're traveling with larger vehicles they have plenty of parking. The staff is very helpful and pleasant. It is a great stay.

The hotel did not appear to have my registration. I had to had the my phone with the confirmation information. Then I was assigned the same room as someone else upon arriving. Fortunately the gentleman assigned that room was just entering the room when I went to the door. It was promptly fixed but required us both to head back to the front desk. Then only one of my two room keys worked. The next day after breakfast neither room key worked and we had to get new keys. Later that day the elevator was under routine maintenance. I ended up going up four flights of stairs and down multiple times that morning. The hotel was also being painted. There was evidence all over floor boards and furniture stored in the hallway. The smell of paint permeated most of the building. The room had paint drip

The fact that this place has any good reviews is mind boggling. You have to give them a $100 cash only deposit upon arrival. To get your cash back when you check out you have to keep a piece of paper, bring it back to the front desk (and wait for the attendant to show up), the front desk attendant then leaves to go check your room, & then when they eventually return, you get your deposit back. It’s 2026- get real. The hotel smelled of cigarette smoke and nastiness. The entire first floor is filled with construction materials. The room was nasty and outdated- mold, stains, etc. The mattress and pillows were horrendous. I would have rather slept in my car.
