Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Benton Harbor-St. Joseph, MI

We just left there. We stayed for my birthday weekend the room was nice but smaller than I expected. Location was convenient. Front desk staff was very friendly. The hotel texted me to ask how my stay was going which I thought was thoughtful and considerate. Breakfast was good. However- we stayed for 4 days 3 nights. House keeping never came to our room once, our next door neighbors were super loud all day and night, to where we couldn’t sleep. Our tv was broken I complained but it was never fixed, we had to go downstairs to get more towels and toilet paper, we had no microwave in our room even though it was advertised in room pictures. Overall not a terrible experience but it could have been better. And I definitely do not feel I got my moneys worth for how much I paid for it.

Good day. This stay was a last minute post anniversary days in Chicago. We were on our way home and decided why not, lets do it...especially with the whirlpool. The front desk was fast, friendly and quick to get me in the room. Grateful for that. The room. The room was interesting. My wife wanted to "document" with picture, but we figured they should know what they got. The bathroom. The whirlpool had only 2 working jets. Very limited on hot water. Broken tiles from the wall that kept falling off. Sticky residue behind the door. Stains around the commode on the floor. We had to lay towels down in order to feel somewhat clean. Good thing we had Clorox wipes and didn't want to deal with the hassle of changing rooms. We were tired and just wanted to take our meds and relax. The price defini

Good things: The lady at the front desk was super nice and helpful. Also the room was clean.|Bad things: It took THREE times to get us into an acceptable room. 1st room had not been cleaned. 2nd room had a busted phone and the TV was not connected. 3rd room was good. THEN there was the fire alarm which had us out in the cold for over 10 minutes waiting - it was determined someone was using a crockpot that overloaded a circuit. But the final insult was being woken up several times overnight by people speaking loudly right outside our door - the first of which was the overnight desk personnel.

Checked in and room was freezing cold as The heater wasn’t on. Turned heater on and it did warm up the room but the heater was Noisy but tolerable. By 1 am It sounded like a semi truck. Went to call the front desk only to find out the phone was Not connected to anything. Had to go to the lobby and they did give us a different room. So at 1:30 am we Had to move everything. Went to make coffee in the am but While there was Coffee Pods There was No coffee pot To be found. The breakfast lady was Very pleasant but this was one of the worst brkf we Have had. Spoke to the gal at the desk who said she can’t do anything about what we Experienced and she would tell the manager. still haven’t heard from Her and Doubting we will. I came to town for a funeral and ended up in a room with no heat. I was tired and just wanted to sleep. When I mention it all they could say is I should've said something. Who wants maintenance on the room while you and your family are undressed.... they staff should know what is wiring Ave what Isabella from the housekeeping staff. I had to stay at a different hotel the next night. Much better rooms and everything worked! And the other hotel was newer looking. You would think they would have updated from when it was Holiday Inn Express! Never again
