Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Augusta at I-20, GA

I received a call three hours before check-in to advise the room I booked which was a 1 bedroom queen suite was unavailable, but a regular double was available. Upon arrival, I was informed I would be paying the same price for a downgraded room which I feel is unreasonable. I'm not receiving what I book. So why am I being charged the same amount, but receiving less. The pool was out of service, ATM out of order, and all of the gym equipment was non functional. The bathroom was not cleaned either. In addition to the poor condition of the hotel, approximately four pre-teen to early teen girls were running through the halls bumping into people. I attempted to check out on the twenty first as planned / according to my reservation. The gentleman at the front desk told me that the night audit was still being performed. And I wouldn't be able to check out unless I waited, which would have made me late for work. He told me that my checkout date was confirmed and that it would email me my receipt. I later received the text message. Asking me to confirm my departure by replying "out" which I did. None of my belongings were left at the hotel. But someone at the facility extended my reservation manually anyway. I don't believe this was an error I believe this was done intentionally because I had a long stay and someone at the facility intended to increase revenues thinking I wouldn't notice. Make sure you get one of the rooms with the sofa bed. They are so nice, spacious, and will surprise you. The customer service is top tier, and the General Manager Corey is amazing. The pool is clean. Great place if you have kids, don't let the outside and surrounding area full you. You're right in the heart of Augusta. They're also renovating after Masters so I know this will be the place to be.

The hotel is run down, the rooms aren’t clean, the towels had black marks from previous people, the shower pressure doesn’t exist. The hotel is covered in dirt and marks and smells highly of weed. Also not only was it $300 a night they hold an additional $150 on your account for up to a week. Not worth the stay and for the price you would think it would be nice. Felt gross staying there.

As a veteran traveler (18 years worth) I have pretty low standards. I used points for a free night, upon arriving to the room the sheer was torn and back of remote was missing. Let front desk know so I wouldn’t be charged. I slept good tired from traveling. Only one vending and drink machine and neither worked :( I was too tired to get back in my car and drive to the store just to get a drink. Seemed quiet where I was, 3rd floor. Room could’ve been cleaner (smeared windows, the soap dispenser in bathroom was visibly dirty- like a kid with dirty hands that mixed it with water then grabbed it) all the carpets in hallways were either stained or they tried to clean it and it left a residue. But beds seemed clean 🤷🏻‍♀️ Didn’t eat breakfast, literally just slept, showered and left. So take from
