Comfort Suites St. Augustine Historic District Area

Best experience ever! The front desk people were all amazing. I am AuDHD and can come across too direct or even confrontational. We had a hiccup with Travelocity. They handled it easily and were very gracious. Quiet... New building, SPACIOUS rooms, very clean, and the breakfast was on point. At night there is always coffee, and tea available. Shampoo, conditioner, lotion and an iron, and hair dryer is provided. The mirror is HUGE and lit completely around. Built in charging ports, and a desk! 2 night stands! Poolnis small and outdoors, but very clean and inviting. This hotel is central to any place you want to go. Priced very well for all they provide. Can't recommend it enough!

This hotel far exceeded our expectations. It was by far the nicest and newest Comfort Suites I have ever stayed at. It really was a beautiful hotel and the rooms were better than most expensive hotels. Beds were comfortable and we loved how the room was arranged. We had plenty of room and loved the huge TV. Breakfast was basic and what you find at every Comfort Suites. I would have liked to see Choice give local hotels the freedom to customize their breakfast offerings and allow for better selection of items. Customer Service was great and all the people working were friendly and helpful. The location of this hotel was close to the Historic downtown area but not right in downtown. Had a few good restaurants options near by as well.

We were pleasantly surprised with the whole weekend it was perfect. The entire staff was exceptional form the moment we walked through the door day one. Everyone was so friendly and helpful with tips and suggestions on making the most of our 3 day stay. The room was huge plenty of space to stretch out without bumping into each other. Location was about a 5 minute drive to St George Street which was plenty close enough for us. We are planning to go back to St Augustin again and will be staying here and recommend the comfort suites historic district.

Amy was most helpful in securing a reservation for my girlfriend and I to visit the Nights of Lights in St Augustine. She also sent an additional email describing activities, times, and costs. It was very convenient to purchase our tickets in advance through the hotel.|The hotel itself was extremely clean and well maintained. Self service breakfast was adequate. Coffee was available all day in the lobby.|My only negative was that there were no grab bars in the showers.

The hotel is nice, but as a Choice Diamond Member, the only welcome gift was 2 bottles of water. The room was clean, the A/C was great, building in good shape. Overall it was pretty positive except for the unexpected parking charges. I arrived after prepaying for my room, and then found out they were charging me additional parking. I don’t remember that being mentioned when booking, so I went back to the website after I checked in. Apparently “accessible parking” is listed under the amenities with an asterisk, which then at the bottom of the page says “may incur additional charge”. I checked all the other hotels I’ve stayed at, parking wasn’t listed as an amenity. Then, looking at my reservation, the tiny fine print BELOW my total price then mentions parking may be added.
