Comfort Suites Mason near Kings Island

December 2025 BEWARE BEFORE BOOKING!! MOLD & Unsanitary conditions. The photos advertised are definitely NOT updated. Our family decided to take a last-minute family trip before the busy holiday season. We’ve stayed at numerous Comfort Suite locations and have never had an experience like this. The overwhelming musty smell and visible appearance of mold as soon as you walk in was enough for me to turn around and walk right back out the door. It was absolutely disgusting and extremely disappointing. Don’t put your health at risk or waste your money. The health department would probably close this place down. NEGATIVE FIVE STARS

Room was clean. No bed bugs. Plenty of towels and covers etc. Hallways were gross due to slight smell and the carpets were really old and stained. Stairways were worse than hallways. Breakfast was poor quality but most everyone at it. Breakfast or package muffins were not good. Yogurts were gross. We skipped breakfast the second day. Check in and check out were really easy with no issues. Overall you get what you pay for. It was close to kings island and cheap compared to other hotels.

Our family came there to experience crite. Wolf lodge, we found that this comfort in had all the amenities to our family's needs, very clean atmosphere, friendly staff. We will be staying there anytime. We do come back to visit Mason. Ohio, and again, we like to thank the comfort and suite for making us a home away from home.

It would be helpful to rotate breakfast menus. The 4 mornings we were offered the same breakfast entree of scrambled eggs and sausage links an of course the other staples of waffles, cereal etc. a couple of the common area rugs had rolled up corners, possibly posing a tripping hazard to some. And my last observation, the shower area could use new calming to remove the mold. Otherwise, it was quiet, courteous staff, and clean

DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL. |my family and I booked a room for two nights, walked in to our room and immediately walked out. The smell of wet mold was unbelievable. It literally is/was a health hazard. I have photo proof of the black mold in the bathrooms. It is not worth staying at this hotel. Stay somewhere else. This place is literally a health code violation. We stayed at the Hilton instead, which was amazing. DO NOT STAY HERE!!
