Comfort Suites Longview North

I have been staying at this hotel for years when I come to see my family in east Texas. Always good customer service, Hotel is always clean, rooms are very spacious and front desk people know their regular/returning customers by name. Only thing I would say needs to change/improve is the coffee they serve at breakfast could be a better quality coffee and breakfast could improve with better quality food. Owners are very nice people as well

The Comfort Suites in Longview has a lot going for it. The property itself is very nice, and the room was spacious and well laid out. The gentleman at the front desk was helpful and professional, which made a good first impression. However, my stay was unfortunately impacted by several basic issues that shouldn’t happen at a property labeled as “Suites.” The bed was made with a dirty comforter — something I didn’t notice until later. I had to request that it be redone. Which I was given the comforter and had to change it myself. Additionally, the room was missing the ice bucket. The lid was there, but the bucket itself was not, so I had to return to the front desk to request one. To add to that, when I attempted to take a shower, the water never warmed up beyond lukewarm. The first room the toilet wouldn’t flush . The second room they put me in didn’t have hot water in the shower. When they fixed it to have hot water the shower lever kept moving down by itself burning me.The floors in the hallways had mud all over the place all week.

I have stayed in this hotel for more than 20 years. The location is great and near all my customers when I come in town for work. I am an independent sales rep and so I have to pay for all my hotels, gas, food, etc.… And I stay in choice hotels because they have the best points systems. This hotel has recently been renovated and it is much better than it used to be. The very best thing about this hotel is Cameron/cam at The Front Desk! He is on his game at all times and always make sure that you are enjoying your stay and he will do anything to help you make it better. He is always personable and friendly and does his job very well. I was really really really disappointed in my stay last week. I spent three nights and not once did housekeeping clean my room. This is why I did not give five
