Four things happened that made this one of the worse hotels I’ve ever stayed at: The original room we were given wasn’t cleaned. There was poop and pee on the toilet seat from the previous guest. There also wasn’t a smoke detector in the room….just wires hanging out of the wall. We asked for a different room. The new room was fine. However, in the middle of the night, someone kept trying to get in our room. Turns out the night clerk punched the wrong number into the computer. We were assigned room 106 but in the computer, it showed we were in 107. So they tried to give someone else room 106 and they couldn’t get in due to the deadbolt. Little stains everywhere. on the sheets, walls, couch. Shower curtain just everywhere. It's not huge stains but attention to detail when cleaning is clearly missing. Me being be, I check behind the bed, wall has what looks like spill stains, and a dead cockroach in the crevice between the wall and the bed on one side. The booklet thing on the desk, had what looks (I hope) to be food stains, all over. Again attention to detail. The curtains in the room had stains too. I had a very hard time feeling like the space was clean enough to just relax in.The phone in the room also did not work?? Also not wiped down clearly dusty. Only plus is is the amount of space. Had no issues staying here for the two months I did except towards the end. It’s an older hotel so not everything is perfect but they are advertised as one of the more affordable locations in the area. Hallways always smell like weed. There is a homeless person that comes in and sits in the hallway on the third floor at night. They never notices since nobody is at the front desk half the time. Breakfast isn’t worth it, some days there’s food and other days there isn’t depending on the amount of people checked in. And the food is microwaved sausage and eggs. Other than that it’s prepackaged bagels, bread, or cereal. I book through choice privileges because the rate is cheaper than what they charge so when I check in I pay for my stay in full. Positive: There was some discriminatory practices done at the front desk would never ever stay or do any business with comfort inn especially if it's Indian owned and operated. Negative: took place all of a sudden you guys come back with ahusband and I were black and they didn't know who we were until we showed up at the front desk this is when all of this nonsense took place so therefore I would not recommend this hotel at all

This is supposed to be a non smoking hotel.Cannabis smoke wafting throughout the hotel. Manager would not put a stop to smoking pot in the rooms.I'm allergic to smoke.Guest book in the rooms says "no pets are permitted on the property". Dog barking. Manager states pets are permitted on the first floor AFTER my first floor room assignment. No signage that pets are allowed. Absolutely intolerable
