Comfort Suites Augusta Riverwatch

This is one of the nicest hotels I've stayed in. The rooms were very clean and well supplied with pillows galore, full size shampoos and clean everything. It was the staff that made my stay Exceptional! Everyone from housekeeping staff to kitchen Lady (wonderful breakfast) to the clerks at the front desk. Even maintenance workers were happy to help you. But it was Ms. Sandy, the daytime manager/desk attendant. She is an absolutely Joyful soul. An angel .. I mean it. She makes you feel like you're a long time friend there just to welcome you home and you were glad to be there. I WILL stay there again.

I stayed at this hotel two nights when my vehicle was being repaired. There was only mildly warm shower and sink water, not hot. The shower leaked considerably the whole time. The toilet in the next room ran off and on every 33-seconds all night. The interior door lock didn’t work because the door was misaligned. We told the front desk about these things. They are short-staffed. The choice reservation system would kit work online and we could not get the promised member rate. We were tired and hungry and didn’t want to make a big deal at that moment. Even the desk clerk could not get the reservation system to work in her computer. - we paid too much for our room. I took photos to begin with the clerk was a bit on the short rude side. She had to make our keys twice. I’m handicap and I had to keep coming back down to the lobby because the keys didn’t work. She first told me obviously I had tried the wrong room and I’m like no no I didn’t then she started complaining that there was an issue with the key maker. Finally, she got keys made then I asked for a 6 AM wake up call the call came in at 5 AM then when I got into the room, I did take pictures the floor totally deep gouges scratches which looked terrible could not figure out how to turn off one of the lights and then the lights by the bed we couldn’t get those turned on and then when we looked at them, we saw that one of them was even broken. Hello, I Live in Augusta,Ga. Right down the road from this hotel and I must brag and give the comfort Inn a 5 -star recommended stay in all areas but, especially the staff members of this Hotel who I must call out most that stand out by name because the staff members were so accompanying, kind,understanding, and went above and beyond in helping my daughter with her Autistic son karter who is sever highly on the spectrum and can be somewhat of hand full from stimming eposoides! My daughter was in town having the twins who are also my grandkids which are showing signs of Autistic behavior as well... but what seems to be different forms we do not know until the results are back we pray and hope for the best in this situation of course because it could be a total of( 3) diagnosed and a possi

I stayed in a king room poolside. Room was decent. Good configuration for work. Close to highway but a drive to restaurants and shopping. Ask not to stay by ice machine or exit door as they can be loud. Aside from that, seems like a place for a quick stay to get in and out.
