Comfort Suites Airport

Great location. Very close to a lot of shopping and restaurants. Great price on a suite. This hotel is older and not fancy. But our suite was clean and comfortable. We like having the additional seating area with the couch/chaise . Plenty of room. We have stayed here several times and have always had very nice and attentive staff. They replaced a mini-fridge once when we had one not working. The only complaint that I would have is the internet is pretty slow and there is no option to upgrade to a higher level internet if you need to work remotely during stay, which my husband is IT so is always "on call".

The staff is very helpful. They go out of their way to make your stay pleasant. The vending machine was out of order. So was the dryer and so was the orange juice dispenser. For one week nothing got fixed. They have a pool but it is not heated so no use in the winter.

Positive: comfortable bed Negative: most amenities/vending machines were out of order; room key cards constantly mal-functioning -- had to get my card re-keyed 6 times (saw numerous guests lined up for the same problem) desk attendants blamed the guests; breakfast underperformed!!!

For the price the room was good for a single night stay. The bed and shower were good. The pillows were very small so I would bring my own next time. The breakfast was the most disappointing part of our stay. We got down there about 15 minutes before the end of breakfast and there was nothing to eat besides a bagel or dry toast. There was no waffle batter, no juice, no milk for the cereal, and nothing left in the hot service dish. We ended up grabbing something at QT down the street.

While the beds and pillows were awesome, the rest of the room was under par. The first room we were given - the toilet did not flush. The front desk woman was very quick in giving us a different room. Paint was peeling in some areas, carpet seemed dirty, register not working well.
