Comfort Inn West Valley - Salt Lake City South

Great hotel, loved the hot tub and the pool, quality breakfast, very cozy lobby and very friendly wonderful staff every day! The room was nice but not luxurious, the tv was pretty old but worked great. Comfy beds with plenty of storage areas and dresser drawers. Good fridge and microwave! The water pressure was fierce, almost too strong but very good. Just a good solid hotel

The front desk was very friendly and accommodating. It was late and I mentioned being hungry in passing because I hadn't eaten since morning. He brought me a bagel and peanut butter. Very nice! The room was very clean and nice. Sharon the desk clerk the next morning was friendly and also accommodating, and wished me well and Happy Thanksgiving several times. Very nice place to stay!

Positive: The best thing about the hotel was its location. It is conveniently located near stores and restaurants. I stayed there for a week long event and it was a 5 minute walk to the Maverick Center. Negative: I didn’t like anything about this hotel. The rooms are outdated. The lights flickering, breakfast was minimal selection compared to others. Had to clean my own room, get toilet paper, towels and sheets at the front desk. The elevator is slow & Much more.

This is one of my favorite Comfort Inns, and I've stayed at many of them across the West and Midewst, this year. The rooms are nice and well maintained. The heated indoor pool is fantastic, and was the reason I stayed there. Sharon, the lady at the front desk, was very kind about getting the dog added to our room when that was missed during checkin. And I can't remember the manager's name, but he was very nice and friendly, also. I ended up extending my stay, a couple of weeks longer than I'd originally intended.

It got the job done of providing a place to sleep and have breakfast and manager was helpful. But I found someone else’s hair on the bed sheets and bathroom and the TV was turned on when I got in the room. The desks were dirty and sticky. The overall room and building are old and need to be updated. And rooms need to be cleaned more thoroughly and professionally.
