Comfort Inn & Suites Schenectady -Scotia

My experience here has been very positive! The room was very clean and smells good. The bathroom is very modern and has a beautiful stand up shower with glass sliding doors. Breakfast offered quite a few different options, all self-serve. The staff was incredibly attentive! I went to fill my coffee cup and the carafe was empty, and by the time I had gone to the desk to ask (which was about 7 or 8 steps away) they had already replaced the carafe with a fresh full one! The parking is a little difficult because it shares a parking lot with the Dollar General and a few other businesses and the only entrance to the building is the one in the front. We asked for extra towels and pillows and they were brought to us in the room promptly and courteously. Next time I come out to visit I will definit

We had a wonderful stay! The facility was exceptionally clean, and the pool and hot tub areas were well-maintained. A huge plus for our family of night owls was the pool staying open until 11:00 PM. Aside from a minor misunderstanding regarding a noise complaint (which we don't believe was actually directed at our room), the service was flawless. Every staff member we encountered was wearing a smile and offered a cheerful greeting. They were even incredibly accommodating when we decided to extend our stay by an extra night. I have several more trips to New York planned, and this is now the only place we will stay.

The staff. Everyone I encountered was friendly, welcoming, professional, and efficient. They all seem relaxed and happy in their roles. This speaks well of Juan, the Manager. This is the first time I stayed at this location. It is perfect for my visits with family and I wish I had tried it years ago. The entire hotel is super clean; no old or stale smells linger. Thank you for a great stay. I will return.

I never give a 10 - well very rarely. However, for a mid-tier hotel, the service, comfort and quality was much higher and therefore, the value was exceptional. For me, I have always considered Comfort Inn a lower mid-tier hotel. The attention given to the details and needs of this guest were met above and beyond my expectations. Excellent review of services by the desk personnel. Greetings anytime I walked by the front desk. A call to make sure all was good with the room and great attention from the man working the breakfast. Overall, just well done!!! As a person who stays at many hotels each year, this one stands out.

I will admit it is in a strange location. They share a parking lot with a stores. However, we stayed at 8 different places on vacation. This was our most comfortable bed and had very friendly staff. Price was great and the hold policy was best for a chain. Very convenient to airport which was our purpose. We would definitely stay again if ever in the area.
