Belvedere Inn

Hotel was fine for the price. Room was clean, bed reasonably comfortable. The continental breakfast left a little to be desired (some bagels, cereal, fruit). Waffle machine was not working first two mornings, coffee and orange juice - though not very good. Water dispensers were always empty. One positive - we were put into a two room suite on check in - which is good as the door to the bedroom blocked the smell of “weed” which on the last morning was quite pervasive (supposedly not allowed). The bathroom in the room was very large - though the shower was a very small corner unit - which was a shame as there was plenty of room for a larger one. Could do with an update. We often stay at the Belvedere Inn because we have family in the area and we find the hotel clean, comfortable and welcoming. On a recent weekend, I inadvertently left my Kindle book in the room when we left. I did not discover my loss until arriving home. I called the hotel and they had it! I made arrangements with a family member to pick it up and mail it back to me. The staff was understanding and helpful, and I appreciate their honesty and care of my property. We look forward to our next stay with the knowledge that guests are truly respected!

We have stayed here for many years because family is close by. Usually we stay between 8-10 days.....every year for several years. It used to be nice but now it is in bad disrepair and dirty .The entire interior halls and guest rooms need to be painted and refurbished. Just awful for any price. Carpets are filthy in the rooms. Don't take a shower (very low pressure) and walk barefoot to the bed....your feet will be black. Ugh. Room doors are scarred up and makeshift repairs on the security locks. It seems like now families are living at the hotel with many children....lots of crying bables and screaming late into the night. Many rough looking undesirable people are there now. Rather scary. This place was terrible. As soon as you walked in ,it smelled terrible, the carpets had stains all over them! The room was extremely dark I suppose that was to make it harder to see the grossness, when I turned the nightstand light on I noticed that the they had a car tree air freshener hanging from The light bulb. The place was terrible!

The breakfast is just terrible with almost minimum to no choice and no one around. No courtesy drinking water in room. Lights not linked to main switch.Not a good noise isolation.The location is good and lot of free parking place. The rooms are clean.
