Comfort Inn & Suites Pittsburgh Fox Chapel

DO NOT STAY HERE. I’m certain that the good reviews are from people they know. There is absolutely no way that anyone enjoyed their stay in this hotel. I’m going to assume that the General Manager is not willing to spend money on employees, cleaners and or maintenance. I’ve stayed in 100’s hotels for my travel and this is by far the most disgusting place I have ever been. Don’t be fooled by the front reception area. Well kept and welcoming. Then you get to your room and it’s like an entirely different world. The floors were gross, not even vacuumed, food all over the floor. Head boards of the bed were covered in god knows what. We checked into Comfort Inn & Suites Pittsburgh Fox Chapel on for a three-night stay and left the next morning due to extremely poor conditions and a serious safety incident.||The room was filthy. There were bugs on the mattress, and the mattress itself was heavily stained with what appeared to be blood and yellow discoloration. The carpet looked like it had not been vacuumed in a long time, the air vents were covered in thick dust, and there was garbage piled up behind the nightstand. We requested a room change, but the second room was no better. There was garbage behind the sofa and the carpets were again visibly dirty.||Around midnight, someone from the front desk used a key and attempted to enter our room while we were sleeping. no easy entry for physically challenged. hotel seemed to be under construction so made allowances for certain things. registration people were very polite and helpful. breakfast was well done and amazing help. the 'pub' has good food. rooms were well appointed and clean. some outlets did not work and no drain stopper in tub. no ice machine.

Overall a hidden gem. The pool and pool area are really good It’s gonna lose points since the bar/restaurant is gone now. But still a very clean and comfortable hotel to stay in. Breakfast is decent. Wish the had non pork meat options. Staff has always been great. Melissa at the front desk should be the GM and everyone should be trained by her. Book and enjoy a comfortable stay.

This was such a trashy hotel! Literally trash everywhere, all around the outside of the hotel, from the hotel to the pool, stairwells, hallways, even found some small trash in our room!! Wallpaper was coming off the walls in our room and just hanging there. We didn't get the room we had booked from the photos. The thermostat didn't work in our room and the sink was leaking. It's like they have updates some things and only put those photos on their website. Super deceiving and overall a horrible hotel. Breakfast was ehhhh... Counters and tables dirty and stale bread and bagels. I just couldn't get past how dirty it was...
