Comfort Inn & Suites Ormond Beach Oceanfront

Positive: All the rooms have a direct view of the oceanfront, and a shared balcony from where you can see the sunrise, unobstructed. Infact, we didnt even have to get out of bed. It is litreally steps from the beach, and the rooms were clean and spacious. Negative: ""

The room was comfortable and clean and right on the beach!! The breakfast was delicious and plentiful - the best we have had at a Choice hotel! (real scrambled eggs, even!) Everyone was helpful and pleasant!

We checked in just past midnight on New Year’s Eve after a delayed flight. The front desk associate seemed a bit out of it and wasn’t friendly, but I give him the benefit of the doubt since it was late and he was probably tired. First, I’d like to point out that I paid extra when booking to have an ocean view suite, but the front desk associate told us that all of the rooms are ocean view. This seems like a rip off - why charge extra when all rooms have the same view? When we got to the room, it looked nothing like what was advertised online. The room is very dated, and it had clearly not been cleaned. There were crumbs all over the kitchen counter and on the chairs and couch. The toilet was continuously running. The AC vent was filthy and letting off a burnt smell. We decided not to stay

I have stayed in quite a few of the choice hotel brands in the last couple of years and this is by far the best one. It looks a little weathered on the outside, but the rooms are terrific. The hotel staff here is amazing. The breakfast lady is awesome. She makes fresh scrambled eggs every day. I never once had to ask for extra towels wash, rags or anything like that like I have in the past great place keep it up. I will be back.

The location and view were fabulous. Oceanfront property and ocean views were incredible. The hotel was clean and the room was very spacious and appeared to be recently remodeled. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Even though the hotel is on the main ocean highway, it was quiet and relaxing. I will definitely stay here again when I visit Ormond Beach.
