Comfort Inn & Suites Hays I-70

While clean, the room was worn out and in need of refurbishing. Bathroom sink hardware worn and rusted, shower old and yellowed, finish worn off the woodwork, tv had a dark line running vertically through the screen, very small room. Scott the front desk manager was great and had to come twice in our first 20 minutes for repairs. Saving grace was this employee and the fact that the room was clean. Have stayed here through the years but probably won't come back. The hotel really needs an upgrade.

Our family had a wonderful stay at the Comfort Inn in Hays, Kansas, and we absolutely give it five stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We’re traveling cross-country as a family of six, and this hotel was one of the most comfortable and relaxing stops on our journey. From the moment we checked in, the staff was welcoming, kind, and incredibly respectful — especially when it came to our support pet. They did not question or challenge us at all, and their professionalism made us feel safe and valued. That alone meant so much. Our room was very clean, peaceful, and well-kept, giving us a chance to truly unwind after a long drive. Everything was good except for two things: 1. 2 of the 3 light bulbs above the mirror in the bathroom were out. This is unacceptable as housekeeping should have reported it to maintenance the last time the room was cleaned. My wife was not happy when trying to put on her makeup. 2. Breakfast - sausage patties didn't even look good - a very pale brown. Stayed at another Comfort Inn & Suites on this trip and they were using sausage links which not only looked good, but were very tasty. 3. NOT A BIG DEAL - The pool was closed for maintenance - thought that should have been advertised - I got the impression that it has either been closed for quite some time or will be closed for quite some time. Probably would not have used it anyway.

We have stayed at this hotel several times over the past few years. We like the staff, especially the weekday breakfast lady. She is friendly and helpful and the area is always clean and well maintained. The fitness room needs attention. The eliptical machine and treadmill do not work. The bicycle seat is stuck in one position. We would like everyday housekeeping to be standard, not by request. We pay a good rate for a room and would like to it be well maintained.

I have a real hard time believing many of these anonymous reviewers. This location was disgusting- Mold in the bathroom, light fixtures, falling off, and wallpaper curling at the corners. I have found better accommodations in South American hostels. Everything about this place was rough
