Comfort Inn & Suites Fort Myers Airport

We've stayed here a few times in the past and it was always a good stay. The location is great and the rooms were always satisfactory. This time not so much. The room smelled very strong of cigarettes and air freshener. They obviously tried to cover up the smell with some sort of spray. I went to the front desk and the gentleman said they had no other rooms. He offered additional spray to cover up the smell. Breakfast in the morning was a complete disappointment. Everything was gone, literally everything! No eggs, muffins or yogurt. I understand the hotel was booked, but call additional help in then. When I mentioned it to the clerk when I was checking she said the person making and filling the food is also the shuttle driver to the airport and didn't really seem to care.

Maybe it’s just me but these continental breakfasts are just horrible with not a single healthy item. And i don’t think it’s about cost because some simple addition of healthier choices wouldn’t raise the cost but o’well, it is what it is. They had a big baseball team group and so the egg/sausage breakfast items where out when we got there and there was only one person working to keep up with the demanding hungry breakfast group , there should be more help on days that big groups are booked into the hotel. Staff was nice, rooms are huge and ok. Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom is ok just a bit outdated but everything functioned well . Pool was semi warm, good enough although a bit murky. Gym was also good with the very basic equipment and a TV. No water , but towels provided. Location

Staff was very pleasant and room was comfy and clean. We have stayed here many times and will continue to stay, however I was not informed of $100 security deposit when I booked reservation. I feel with our history at your hotel and the fact that we always leave the room in exceptional condition that this should be waived.

This hotel is convenient to nearby restaurants, not far from the airport, offers airport shuttle (very friendly driver) & breakfast, has an indoor pool (didn't get to enjoy either of these last 2 amenities) & the bed was comfortable. What was off-putting were the three gentlemen sitting outside the main entrance (maybe employees although not in any clothing associated with the hotel), smoking for hours on end, the glass/Plexiglass barrier separating the front desk staff member from us guests that made check-in & chat less-than-welcoming (is there a security issue at this location, or, continued post-pandemic precautions...?) & we asked if we could get a take-away breakfast bag since our flight was so early in the morning & the front desk staff member implied that she could not figure out h

My Mom stayed here with her friend while on vacation. The location is great. Very close to RSW and convenient road access to Daniels Parkway and I-75. The beach was about 30 minutes away. Despite being near the airport, there was very little noise. The room was clean and in good condition. The ceiling fan was nice to keep circulation going. Breakfast was your standard fare but it serves its purpose. Eggs, sausage or bacon, waffles, cereals, juice and coffee. The staff were friendly. The indoor pool looked nice, although she didn’t use it. The property felt safe. The price was great at $64 a night. Overall, this hotel offered a comfortable stay at a bargain price. She said she would definitely stay there again.
