Comfort Inn & Suites Custer - Crazy Horse Area

Great for kids! The decoration was fun for my little kids. They loved the animals and the fake fireplace was great because they could be around it and it was not hot. The breakfast was surprisingly very good for a free breakfast! I didn't really have any expectations for it but I actually enjoyed everything I ate for breakfast. The staff was so polite and kind as well! The man checking us in at midnight was so kind even though it was super late. He didn't act rude or in a rush when we had to run back to our car to grab something we forgot, he just kindly talked with us while we waited. I didn't have super high expectations since its a cheaper hotel room cost but the service was above and beyond! And the rooms were clean!

Great place to stay for a night or a week. Room was very clean and had plenty of room. The bathroom was roomy as well. Easy check in and check out. Desk person was very polite and helpful. Laundry on every floor. The free breakfast was very good. Had something for everyone!

I have plans to visit this hotel and am very concerned to do so. Between myself and Expedia they have been called numerous times trying to get a hold of someone at the front desk about my reservation. Hopefully they still exist and I didn't waste money or if they do, when I'm there I actually get service!!! Will hopefully get to update the 1 star to higher soon! Edit: Positives it was a clean hotel, location was decent 10-15 min walk to main shops/food we wanted to go to. The hot tub was not operational which was the biggest downside, we needed that after a chilly day and hikes.

I originally booked the EconoLodge but that was closed for the season. Comfort Inn was convenient to Caves National Park (but closed due to Gov Shutdown). We did the Jeep Tour in Custer State Park and it was great. The hotel is close to Needles Hwy and Mt Rushmore and Crazy Horse and the lodges in Custer State park.||The hotel room and bathroom was clean and had enough towels and toilettes. Breakfast was good with fresh fruit (bananas, apples, oranges) eggs, bacon, bread, waffles, juices etc. There was a 24 hr coffee/tea, hot chocolate available to everyone plus coffee and tea in the room.||The hotel is close to downtown, we had lunch at Caminity Jane (great) and dinner at Bulging Bull. I had the salad was great and my husband the salmon stir fry both very good.

Very easy check-in from a very polite and friendly young man. The room was spacious. clean and comfortable. Laundry facility and ice machine on every floor. The pool looked very nice. Breakfast was great. Something for everyone. You will not go away hungry. Very nice outdoor seating area in the back. Spacious truck and trailer parking. Over all, a very nice place to spend a night or a week.
