Comfort Inn & Suites Cedar Rapids Airport

Wonderful stays before and after our flights out of town. Friendly helpful staff, convenient shuttle to the airport, clean rooms and delicious breakfast. I gave one less star for the room because their in room coffee makers don't work well. The plastic insert for the coffee pod doesn't fit well causing a big mess.

The rooms and facilities are wonderful. We were disappointed because we have a large family and they didn't give us adjoining rooms. They gave us rooms completely on different floors making it a hassel to tote the kids and supplies around.

Hotel has gone downhill. Room wasn’t cleaned to the best of the housekeepers ability. The ledge in our sweet had a white powdery substance on it. Crib mattress that was provided has a rip in it. (This is very unsafe for babies). We had no towels in our room upon arrival. Elevator needs to be fixed. Breakfast needs to be better. The bathrooms by the lobby need cleaned better. There was literally poop splattered on the wall in the men’s restroom.

Pillows. Yuck. Mattress. Even worse. One of the very worst mattresses I've ever slept on (not that I was able to sleep much). Very clean and staff was great. Was just staying overnight to get to the airport at o'dark-thirty in the morning. Also on the plus side - even though we were leaving at 4:50 am, the kitchen manager came to us to let us know that she had not heated options for us if we wanted them. That was above and beyond. Not a brand I love, but this mattress was a real re-visit killer.

Our stay was fantastic. The staff was amazing. I work in Hotelier industry. The manager was truly top tier, warm, and so accommodating! Anytime we come back to visit family….. We won’t be staying anywhere else but here now! Well done CIS-CR!!!!
