Comfort Inn & Suites Bethlehem Lehigh Valley Airport

It's a good location to Bethlehem, about 15 minutes. When we 1st checked in, the hotel and the room had an over-whelming smell of mildew, but by the next morning, it was much better...almost as if they turned on an air purifier (??) Breakfast was plentiful, but typical. Eggs, sausage on day1, bacon on day 2. Bread, cereal, muffins, waffles that you make yourself, yogurt, etc... coffee was 'meh'. We couldn't use the pool because it was being renovated, so that was a bummer. But, the staff was very friendly...

If I could give 0 stars I would. I really wanted to like this hotel, it was minimally clean, cheap, and had good reviews. I waited 20 minutes to check in while standing in between the sliding doors and the lobby to be let in. When I tried to take a shower in the morning, it had horrible water pressure and the settings were either burn your skin off hot or ice cold, no in between. I had to stand out of the water and use a wash cloth fast. When I went down to complain the front desk staff (Emy) was standing in front of the door smoking a cigarette. I chose this property because it was a non smoking property and both my son and I have asthma. I had to step out and ask her for service which she gave me tons of attitude about. I am local booked a room specifically for the pool for the kids on their birthday and it wasn't until I scanned my card that they tell me the pool is temporarily closed! To make matters worst I booked 2 Queen beds with a balcony and they had me in a King with no balcony. They should be more transparent with this crucial information. Now I have 2 teens bored out of their minds and highly upset on their bday. And have to look for an alternative for their entertainment. This was so inconvenient my advice is call ahead for amenities.

We truly enjoyed our stay. Mr. Dion at the front desk took great care of us! He really went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable during our stay. House keeping was also very pleasant, ensuring our accommodations were met. We will definitely be staying here again!

Overall everything with the hotel and room itself was pretty good, but I was a little disappointed with complimentary breakfast. There is no regular water available, only lemon infused water, which has a sour taste to it. Additionally they offer waffles but the plates are barely big enough to accommodate. Syrup would literally dribble off the waffle sides because of the small plating. And the utensils themselves were so weak and cheap that cutting the waffle was extremely difficult.
