Comfort Inn St. Louis - Westport Event Center

The hotel was easily accessible but the interstate traffic noise was awful. Our room was clean and the beds were comfy enough. We stayed on the 4th floor. As soon as we stepped off of the elevator a horrible wave of cigarette and marijuana odor hit us, luckily it didn’t drift into our room. Housekeeping was banging around in the hallway and slamming doors early in the morning while I was trying to sleep which was very annoying. But overall, not the worst place I’ve stayed.

The condition of the room was not in a all good state. The wall paint was shipping lamp. Lights were not working. Also electrical outlet outlets were not working as well.and also had paint peeling off both of dinning chair. Also it smelled like straigh cigarettes when the facility is a smoke free place

The people here are great. The food was good. But... the buildings and facilities just aren't being taken care of. One elevator was down the whole time, as well as the lobby bathroom. I had a list of things wrong with room as soon as got settled in. Stains on the floor, light switches and plugs not working. And the front desk even knew some of them already. It's a shame because your employees are really trying. But the owner really is not taking care of the place.

The hotel furnishings and carpets need to find a dumpster. The carpet in my room had an area between the beds that was actually sticky. The halls carpets are beyond cleaning. Completely nasty! I felt like I had rented a room at a crack hotel. Now, let me say the STAFF WAS PHENOMENAL! They were kind, funny and so accommodating. The breakfast was good, not anything special, but not bad either.

More like a motel than a hotel. Dont let the lobby picture fool you. Floors were stained and filthy. Elevators were extremely small and scary and smelled like cannabis and a musty wet smell. Staff was nice and pleasant. #326 room, the bathtub faucet leaked all night long, the AC was either arctic or barely working. Very sketchy looking place on the inside. Definitely not worth what we paid.
