Comfort Inn Palo Alto

We booked last minute and really enjoyed our stay at Comfort Inn Palo Alto... The rooms were designed nicely and well appointed, the bed was super cozy and comfortable.. it was super quiet and peaceful which is sometimes not common in the smaller hotels. the bathroom was great and a special bonus with that they had a hand shower! the staff was friendly and helpful from the get-go. We absolutely loved the breakfast especially the fresh waffle maker.. they have coffee makers in the room, microwaves and a mini fridge. For under $100 all in, this place is an amazing value. We will definitely stay there again. Thank you!

Great location, especially pre hospital stay at Stanford. Room and bed were comfy enough for a short convenient stay. Front desk guy could be a little more communicacative. Not very welcoming.

Cleanliness was great! Excellent customer service upon check in. Quick service on replacing TV remotes; the 4th one actually worked. Able to enjoy some football. A/C did not blow out cold air. Actually, having a window open cooled the room. Will return. Thank you

I arrived around 11 PM after a long day of travel, hoping to get some rest. Parking was challenging as there is limited parking. Check-in itself was average, but everything went downhill immediately after. When I opened the door to my assigned room, I was shocked! the bed was unmade, the bathroom was visibly dirty, and there were crumbs and trash on the floor. It was clear the room had not been cleaned at all after the previous guest. I went straight back to the front desk to report it. Instead of apologizing and offering a new room right away, the staff member seemed skeptical and insisted on going to “verify” the condition himself. Ten minutes later, he returned, confirmed that the room was indeed dirty, and tried to call housekeeping to have it cleaned on the spot, close to midnight!!

I have been staying here quite often for over a year for my son's medical appointments. Lots of nice parks and playgrounds in the area, and plenty of things to around. They also offer good hot breakfast, small fridge, microwave, coffee maker. I have never gotten a dirty room. There are minor repars needed but it was very clean.
