Our first time visiting this Comfort Inn location was last weekend, and we plan to book again soon! On arrival, the front desk was very pleasant and friendly. We asked about open restaurants (since most are closed at this time of the year) and she was very knowledgeable and helpful. Our room was very nice and clean. We loved the fact the hotel is ocean front so we could step right out to the beach! Complimentary breakfast was provided, and the staff there were great too. This was a clean, safe and friendly location, which seems like a rarity these days. Plus, they are dog friendly! Thank you for a wonderful stay! We will be back soon!

To: Jenni Scott, General Manager, and the Comfort Inn South Staff Comfort Inn South – 8031 Old Oregon Inlet Road, Nags Head, NC 27959 I recently visited the Outer Banks for Thanksgiving and stayed at the Comfort Inn South in Nags Head. From the moment I checked in to the moment I checked out, my experience was truly exceptional. Tavia and Sheena at the front desk exceeded every expectation. Their warm greetings, genuine smiles, and welcoming presence immediately set the tone for a wonderful stay. It’s clear that the entire team works hard to create a comforting, home-away-from-home environment for every guest. What was meant to be a simple holiday getaway became something far more meaningful. My oceanfront room offered not just a beautiful view, but a peaceful, healing space where I felt s

In the off season, the price is absolutely worth it and it has its own beach access, but also if you want to go walking/running/bicycling directly from the hotel, you can do that too. It's walking distance to many restaurants, a brewery, and some shopping, and is quick driving distance to everything in nags head, kill devil hills, and the rest of Dare County. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the hotel is clean, but a little outdated. Beds are comfortable and rooms are nice and private. The doors are a little beaten up and the walls and tubs could use some repairs. Otherwise it's a very comfortable stay on the OBX

We've been using this inn for several years and have always found it to our liking, taking care of our needs for our time on OBX. |Though this is not what you'd call a top-shelf hotel, it's more than satisfactory for a clean place to spent the nights. Though they continually make improvements, it is starting to show its age in some places, as all hotels do. ||We've been on the 4th floor this year, during some tropical storm activity, so we had a great view of some powerful surf action!

The staff and lobby area were very nice, impressive. However the building in which the rooms are located was below standard. There was one slow elevator you had to take and then transfer to a different elevator to get to your room. not terribly inconvenient, but the elevators were both slow and poorly maintained (rust, big scratches from wear, dirty). Our room was nice and clean. We had to call maintainence to help open the door to the balcony because the door handle didn't work. the charging port was a really nice accessory, but it didn't work. Maintainence had to be called a second time....he told us the plug was just loose. Questionable. We had tried the plug. We were over charged for the first night because they said it was due to the weekend rate. I questioned it because it
