Comfort Inn Near Kokomo Speedway

We had been driving approximately 12hrs. We were very tired at this point and wanted a place to stop. I found online the Comfort Inn. When we arrived, I went into the lobby and I was greeted by two ladies at the front desk. I asked for a first floor room which they were able to provide with no problems. They told me of the amenities for the hotel, pool, free breakfast, etc. When we got to the room, it was very clean, shower/bathroom, was clean as well. The shower had very hot water, adjustable shower head as well. Overall a good place to stay. The rate for the room was approximately $128 with taxes. I would stay here again.

I traveled here from Michigan to help my mom move from Kokomo back home to Michigan. We had a minor car issue, which resulted to us staying here, so we've decided to get a room for the night. From the min we walked in, your AGM, Trianna, was so nice to us! She was very helpful. She listened to our requests. She has the upmost, best customer service I've seen in a while. She's definitely a people person, and she made our stay very comfortable! I wished I could have gave her a tip just for being her! Now on another hand, the girl that was at front desk when we came down for breakfast and her shift was over at 7am.. she had a snappy nasty attitude! Her customer service sucks! She didn't smile. During my stay at this hotel I had my medicine bag and personal care items stolen out of my room by the cleaners. The elevators did not work what so ever. The power in my room was out for an entire day while they tried to tell me they would not be getting it fixed until the following Monday even though it turned out to just be a tripped breaker. I got locked out of my room due to their inside security latches being messed up and was given a tool to try and get into the room when the door handle broke and I fell back into the opposite wall. I have never had such a horrible experience at a hotel and I travel for a living. I would not recommend staying at this hotel for anyone no matter how cheap a room could be or what kind of deals they could offer.

As soon as you walk in you get hit with a strong smell of glade plug in mixed with dirty carpet and wet dog. The room looked clean but smelled horrid. I never requested a pet friendly room, I don’t own pets but that’s the room that was given to me without my knowledge. It made me feel nauseous the whole time we were there. Bathtub was clogged and the water wouldn’t drain. I was showering with my feet buried in 6 inches of water. The pool was ok but the sides of it looked dirty. And the breakfast was mediocre. I was afraid I was going to find fleas in my luggage. The experience was horrible. I was there for one day only and couldn’t wait to leave. I don’t recommend this place to anyone that doesn’t own pets! Super unhygienic.
