Comfort Inn Columbus near Fort Benning

This hotel was a pleasant surprise 😀. The bed was decent the heat in the room worked good. The tv actually got channels and best of all the water in the heated pool was tolerable. Now the room temperature in the pool room was a completely different story. The actual room was freezing 🥶 and blowing cold air out of the vents straight onto the pool. The employees were pleasant enough the toiletries were surprisingly good quality and breakfast was your standard Continental but hey you get what you pay for right. I would stay here again. Its close to Fort Benning which is why i came so that's all that mattered. But theres tons of shopping and food within walking distance.

The night clerk put us in a room with a sink that was leaking and had a work order out in. She didn't even offer to move us. Second, decided to stay in there again because the leaking sink didn't bother me. Manager said we should have been moved. She was very nice.

Positive: 9/09/25I like that the staff was helpful. They were super nice and friendly. Negative: The pool was closed. The waffle iron, juice machine, and toaster were not working.

If I was an athlete and I loved cold showers, I’d love to come here! BUT IM NOT. And you know I think it’s really considerate that the hotel decided to not let the toilets flush! It’s so rare of hotels to do something like that and so I’m SO grateful of the awful service☺️. By the way I’m collecting all the hairs I find in the bathroom and gifting them as a wig to the mean receptionist guy!

Rooms were not bad. Some staff could not speak English. I had to talk into there phone for towels and an issue with the shower. Needs more attention with cleaning. Not sure how they run out of towels. The lady running the breakfast was fantastic. She is friendly and very outgoing. I wish the rest of the staff shared her energy.
