Candlewood Suites Columbus-Northeast by IHG

While I did not actually stay overnight (due to a family issue) I would highly recommend this hotel location. The management and specifically Andrew went above and beyond to assist with my unusual situation. His compassion on 2/13/26 made my 'personal unpleasant experience' less stressful. Sometimes all you need is for one thing to go well, and Andrew did that for me! Next time I am in Columbus GA I will definitely stay here. The location is perfect along the Whittelsey hub area, shopping and food nearby. Very walkable and easy access to highway.

Staying here for work and the rooms are better than what I expected. Room has a full fridge and freezer, 2 burner stove, plates, frying pan, pot, and dishwasher. I would recommend staying here

The hotel is pretty decent as far as the rooms and everything goes. But when you make a reservation, they need to honor the reservation. I’m a diamond elite member. I made a reservation when I showed up. They did not have the particular room I reserved which I understand. Just put me in any room. I don’t care is what I told the man at the front desk . As he’s trying to find another room, he tells me they are sold out. I was like great now. What do I do now standing in line behind me are 4 or 5 other guest. Waiting to check in he found them a room. How is it that they have a room for them and and Not for me and I was there before them. My reservation is a diamond elite member are supposed to be guaranteed. Whoever showed up last should have not got a room, but instead they did not rent me

Nicole and Anthony by the front desk were very unprofessional. Anthony especially was extremely cold. My hotel room, smelt weird and had a rusted out light. There was a stain as well on my white sheets that was brown.

We enjoyed our stay. Bed very comfortable. Kitchen was great. Shower was wonderful with the bathroom amenities. No hair dryer though. Great towels. Quiet. Staff was so friendly! TV was just fair when it came to channels.
