Comfort Inn Cadillac

We absolutely loved this hotel. We had a booking down the street but saw that was currently going through renovations so we decided to stay here instead for cheaper and looked already renovated. I am glad we switched! The staff was great that I interacted with and helpful. The rooms were clean and I tear a room apart making sure it's clean before bringing my things in. The mattresses were spotless and looked new. Everything was very comfortable. The design, layout and use of space was great. I wish there was a coat rack or hooks near the door instead of just the chest on the far end of the room. Honestly this is my biggest complaint so that says a lot! DO NOT STAY HERE, holiday inn express up the road is much better. stayed at the comfort inn for two nights, water was cold/lukewarm. I notified the front desk and asked for a full refund. They told me we can only give you 1 night refund but you will have to leave. Leave? Are you kidding me? I still paid for a full nights stay. Avoid this place at all cost, very unprofessional and inconsiderate of their guests. (They sent maintenance up to check it, but he told us stuff that we already knew. They didn’t offer us a different room or anything to resolve the issue.) The only thing they offered us was the DOOR.

We had no complaints with the hotel, its staff, etc. Beds were quite comfortable and everything was clean. Breakfast options were good. If I had to pick an issue for improvement, the prepared hot foods were barely warm but then again, there were very few people staying the night before.

My husband and I visited this facility for a weekend getaway. The hotel was clean, and the rooms were a good size. The bed (king) was very comfortable, but the pillows were too soft. The bathroom was ok. The water temp did not get above lukewarm, and the tub needs to have non-slip strips installed, since I almost fell while taking a shower. The breakfast was standard, but very good. Cookies were only provided at the desk on one day of our stay. Eateries located around the hotel was just ok. The fitness room was very nice and clean, and had plenty of equipment.

The Comfort Inn in Cadillac was just ok. The hot water was not working in the bathroom, but it was late & we were too tired to call the desk. The refrigerator was not working, and a light over the desk area flickered which was very annoying. Also, the sheets were so thin and slimy feeling, I wished I had brought my own. The price was ridiculous for an older, ill equipped hotel. When I was checking in, the clerk called me Dear, Honey, etc 2 or 3 times until I kindly asked her not to call me that. She had my name. I'm a 75 year old woman. That was totally ignorant on her part.
