Colony Inn Buena Park

It is a great cheap hotel. Perfect walking distance to the parks, free parking, kind workers. The room had hardwood which is more cleaner than carpets in most hotels. Large spacious rooms. Large TV, the kitchenette was fairly clean. The freezer was kind of gross but the fridge and microwave was really clean. Very accommodating letting us park and walk over to the park before our room was done. Gave us preference on bottom floor when asked. |We got 3 towels and no hand or washcloths. The soap was not very good. Pillows were flat and not very comfy. No ice machine that I saw.

I think this place is a good example of getting what you paid for. Our room was clean looking at first glance, but as we spent more time we noticed how dirty the floor felt and how dirty the doors and baseboards were, the cleaning services were doing the bare minimum. No bed bugs so far! We did see a little bug on the wall literally minutes of first walking in, then later more on the floor and in the shower. They looked and moved like tiny roaches. The bedding was thin and we were only provided two pillows per bed, which wasn't great for I or my bedmate. My friends and I stayed there to go to Knottsberry, the location is really the only plus for this place. It met our needs but the quality was really dismal.

!!!BEWARE YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR MOLD ON THE WINDOW AND CURTAINS!!! We booked this hotel for 12/6/2025. We went simply to sleep as we had spent the day at Knotts Berry Farm. We got in late evening to find the room with blood stains on the door. Stained blankets. The shower had no shower head the tub was clogged. I went to report it, and the gentleman told me he had no other room available and if we didn't like it, we could leave with no refund because we did not report the issues within the first 15 minutes. We did not find any available rooms so we decided to stay. We woke up to cockroaches and when I open the curtains to look is when we discovered the windows and curtain had MOLD!! Positive: The location, with respect to Knott's Berry Farm was ideal. It was walking distance and was exactly what we were looking for. It was a place to rest our head at the end of a very long day at the park. Negative: The room was not clean. There were stains on the walls, floor, door, etc. I understand that it's a budget friendly hotel, but a little cleaning goes a long way. There were no pictures on the walls and the lighting was a little odd.

This place is disgusting do not go here. There are roaches the bedding doesn't look like it's been cleaned and there are burn marks in all the blankets. If I could give it 0 stars I would. The smell is terrible the shower had 2 tones of gross. The bed was broken and split in the middle.
