Club Wyndham Fairfield Harbour

Was concerned on the bad reviews. We stayed Thanksgiving week 2025 and had no complaints. This resort has 2 management's. Make sure to tell them you are a Wydham owner. We stayed at Windjammer ll and had a great experience with cleanliness, updated interior and loved the screened in porch. Definitely would stay here again.

This is the very worse “Wyndham” resort they own. After being booked 3 months and very specifically and repeatedly asking during booking for lower level and handicap accessible pity, we were assigned a condo on stilts…a treehouse. ||4 senior citizens carrying a car full of very heavy luggage and oxygenator weighing 100 pounds had to climb 2 flights of stairs to get to our accommodations. ||The furniture is very old, paint is peeling, carpet which had not been vacuumed is buckling up. Microwave doesn’t work, refrigerator is barely cool, not cold, the 2nd bedroom is….yes you guessed it…UP MORE STAIRS without air condition and only one working outlet. I am a club Wyndham owner. I almost canceled my reservation after I read these reviews. We showed up early and the people at the front desk were fantastic. Our room was not ready and we were provided with instructions how to use the facilities anyway. We did get into our room by 3:00 and it is fantastic. Everything is newly renovated and beautiful. We found all of the supplies we needed to last us the whole week. The location is a bit remote from the town but being on the golf course benefits us. We would certainly recommend this resort to anyone who is considering the New Bern area.

Units are outdated and not maintained. Water smelled horrible. Shower head barely worked. Bathroom door didn't close. Most of the lights in the unit didn't work. The dishwasher flooded the kitchen floor. The staff was rude when I went to voice my concerns about all of the issues. The units are over a mile away from the management office. I would strongly suggest never booking a stay here EVER!!!

Amenities. were pretty decent, except for the outdoor pool. It is not heated, would have a lot of people using it if it had been. The unit itself was terrible, very outdated. You would sink on the couch and the mattresses not in a good way. Bathrooms were dirty. Lots of hair. The jetted tub was disgusting. Tiny t.v. with few stations.
