Clayton House Motel

I don't know how it's legal for this hotel to operate. As you can see from my photos the entire building is covered in roaches. Not as in "there's a lot of roaches" but as in "I thought my neighbor had closed their black window curtains but they didn't even have curtains, there were just so many roaches in their window that the mass of their bodies blocked any light from escaping." I've been here four hours and I had one man (I believe he was homeless) knock on my door at 1am and then he told me some convoluted story about how his friend is diabetic and and needs insulin syringes but doesn't have any and do I have any he can buy from me? Then around 3am some young guy knocked on my door and just straight up asked if I could sell him drugs. Two cop cars have been parked outside all night. T

me and my family enjoyed this place. It’s really nice for the price comfortable beds. The staff is great. The room looks really nice and give them five stars.

I was gonna give it 2 stars since I didn't get robbed while I was there but then I found drugs and a needle in the closet. Was a very sketchy place, the lock on the door barely held the door closed, someone could have stomped there way in at anytime. I enjoyed the novelty though, it reminded me of Novac from Fallout New Vegas.

Looking for a room and came across this place. Called to ask availability and pricing and the front desk lady was respectful and pleasant. This is an old motel and as such I wouldn't expect a whole lot. As far as the rooms. The a/c worked great, mediocre TV, has a micro fridge and a tiny microwave and that's the only good part. I would not recommend this place unless you have no choice. The price is not worth the stay. What to expect: does not have good insulation around doors (so a lot of outside noise), black mold, leaky shower, concave areas of the ceiling, broken mirror, rotted wood, rusty pipes, rust in tub, needs a good cleaning/painting, very old mattress and furniture, roaches are visible, says no smoking but can clearly smell smoke and this was a single daily room.

Shower drips constantly 6. Toilet doesn’t flush 7. Bugs! Roaches 8. Manager LIED about price, threatened to call police, and incredibly rude 9. Room smells of cigarette smoke 10. Tv on top of the microwave 3 different rooms on one day. Each room had a different problem. Very bad mold buildup water on one side of the sink different rooms have cold water different room got hot water no phones in any room no fire detectors And they gave us a room. They didn’t have a microwave. We had to borrow one from a Neighbor it was just terrible Place need to be checked out. safety hazard I really can’t belie
