We stayed here a couple of weeks ago for a four day long weekend and were not disappointed. Our two double bed room was clean, simple, and comfortable. It had a microwave as well as a mini-frig which made it great for heating simple meals and keeping things cold. The continental breakfast was more than sufficient- breads, bagels, sweet breads, coffee, cream cheese, etc. Nice homey feeling in the dining area. The sauna was authentic Finnish- nice benches, real rock stove with Lake Superior rocks, and water and ladle to pour on the water for steam. Also a hot tub which we never used but looked nice. On the highway but quiet.. We're going back this weekend.

Very nice and friendly owners, checking in and out was a breeze. (I liked the little pride flags) Location was good as it was right along our way, easy to get to. Our room had still nice older furniture and th room was pretty clean. The bed was ok and firm, pillows could use an upgrade. We liked the a/c unit as I forgot our fan. The bathroom was ok, newer toilet. The shower head was a little short for my husband, but he adjusted. Thanks for the great service.

Fantastic, roadside motel. Travelling solo on a motorcycle I was looking for an inexpensive room for the evening to get dry and rested up. I was very happy with the greeting I received, and was provided extra towels for my motorcycle without even asking. A huge plus in my books. The room was clean as were the sheets and bathroom. The bed was quite firm, this was right up my alley. However, if my wife was with me, she would have said otherwise. I definitely recommend this motel to anyone travelling through and looking for a comfortable place to stay at a reasonable price.

Very clean the pillows were flatter than pancakes, the curtains could use an upgrade, paper thin. The doors were not , well not safety backup, but it was clean I thought the price was a bit high. I don't mind but then you have to up your game a bit, but it was clean
