Clarion Suites Anchorage Downtown

My stay was wonderful. Front desk clerks were very nice and professional. My room was a king deluxe, I stayed 4 nights. Was clean when I checked in, the bed is comfortable and big enough for two. Breakfast was free, overall I loved my stay. Had no problems at all with my stay. Definitely will stay here again in the future!

I didn’t expect much after reading some reviews on here, but was booked by travel agents as part of a Canada/Alaskan fly drive. Front desk staff were professional and polite and always greeted us on arrival on the 2 nights we stayed. Room clean and tidy and no complaints. Free breakfast provided which was appreciated and the staff member worked really hard to keep it well stocked with a great variety of breakfast items. Much appreciated. Good location and walkable to sites. Plenty of parking on site. Overall pretty happy, would return.

I was surprised at the cleanliness and updates to this hotel at our recent stay. In the past it was not on great shape. The location isn't great but it's convenient downtown. I would stay again if I needed a quick stay in downtown Anchorage.

Decent location given what's in their control. The homeless/unfortunate population of Anchorage continues to be a challenge and dominantly downtown, so walking areas around may be uncomfortable to some. The staff are kind and easy to work with, and they had fresh baked cookies at the counter which was fun. Check-in was easy and since the site has only two floors, it is easy to locate. The provided breakfast is decent, essentially what you'd expect (eggs, sausage links and patties, bacon, yogurt, cereal, bagels and toaster, etc). There was one morning that there seemed to be a shopping shortage as they only had limit options, but I suspect that was out of their control. The room was okay at best. My room didn't appear to have received a full turning, as there were popcorn crumbs on the flo

I love the atmosphere in this location and the staff are always so friendly and helpful. The breakfast crew Kulia and Kait both were very helpful during breakfast and promptly refilled any food or beverages that were running low. The front desk crew, Laura, Finnian, Sally, and Deionte were all very accommodating and provided me with any information I requested or were able to tell me where I could obtain the information. The general manager Leah is always very upbeat and welcoming. Georgia from sales was very kind and generous and provided me with directions when asked. Housekeeping staff - Oriana, Oleanna, Carla, Emely, Denise, Jea, and Charles never missed a beat and were very efficient with their work!!
