Clarion Hotel BWI Airport Arundel Mills

This is a very run down hotel. We had to switch rooms twice. One room the bedding looked unwashed...the wifi didnt work and there was no hot water. So they switched us to a smoking floor (from what it smelled) while we have a 1 year old. That room was disgusting in the bathroom (I have video and pictures of it) then the hot water didnt work in that room the following morning. Front desk said we had to wait for maintenance to get there at 9am to turn up the hot water tank. We had to be on the road as we are traveling so that set us back. We waited until 10am and still no hot water. It was to the point we had to pack up and go shower less which is unacceptable by all means.

This is an older hotel, but it was clean. Unfortunately, we experienced no hot water during our stay. It was Room 403. The hotel personnel switched us to a lower floor, different room but still no hot water and no heat. The breakfast was mediocre —make your own waffles, white & wheat breads, oatmeal packets, bananas, very sweet juices , cereal, coffee and tea was available for breakfast from 6a-9a. Plush toilet paper. Comfy beds. My first room 403- tv didn’t work at all. Second room 113-tv was working but the heat was not working.

The WORST hotel experience of my life! I don't normally write reviews, but people deserve to be made aware of this hotel before booking! Our flights were canceled, so we tried to find a hotel near the airport to sleep. We didn't need anything fancy, we just wanted to find a place with a shuttle service and a restaurant. According to the internet listing, this checked both of those boxes. But when we got there, after standing at the front desk yelling into the back room to try to get someone's attention to check us in, we found out that the restaurant was closed despite the the fact that I double checked the hours before booking, and was informed the shuttle doesn't run until 9am, so we had to book a $40 Uber! Definitely not the best experience here! When we first arrived we were put into a room where the lock was broken and the air unit was also broken. after being moved to a different room we were good for the night. the days following weren’t the best tho, the elevator was constantly out of order which is inconvenient for guests staying on the 6th floor. but when we came back in the afternoon on the second floor day of our stay the stairs between the 2nd and 3rd floor were covered in used cat litter and the garbage bag with the remaining littler was just sitting on the ground between floors.

My stay at Clarion Hotel BWI Airport Arundel Mills was extremely disappointing and far below expectations. The room was very outdated and poorly maintained. The sheets, blankets, and towels were dirty, which made the room feel unsanitary. I specifically requested a non-smoking room, yet the room smelled strongly of cigarettes, and the odor was overwhelming. Nothing in the room felt modern. There were no basic streaming options like Netflix, and everything looked old and worn out. Breakfast was very disappointing. Although breakfast is included, the options were extremely limited, only waffles and cereal. If a hotel offers breakfast, it should meet a reasonable standard, and this one did not.
