Chippewa Motel

This place needs remodeling and upgrading those rooms. I had one that was remodeled. New flooring, bathroom, and vanity were newer, and the shower tile was new, but there wasn't a trash can anywhere, and the previous tenants trash was left on the floor. Hair in the sink!! That was the first and last time I went n there! The mattress didn't fit the frame, the curtains and bed linen were as old as the building!! They increased prices from $50 for my first visit to $80! For a quick stop, but it will be my last stop!

Can not believe this place gets any business. I really really should've looked into this place better. The room was absolutely filthy. Curtains were absolutely disgusting. The walls had water marks and yellow. The table lamp was spliced with electric tape. Most of the electrical outlets didn't work. There was hair on the shower walls. The towels were basically see through. They charged me $72 dollars and refused to refund my money after I actually seen the room. ||I'll never ever go back. A block down I was charged $12 less and it was very nice.

Never have any rooms available and on the slight chance that you catch one available. They are so dirty and needles are all around the toilet. Along with bedbugs and blood all over the place. I don't think they clean at all as I marked a sheet with a washable marker and 2 weeks later the same sheet was still on the bed.

Just called to see if the weekly rate was cheaper than the $350 that was posted 2 weeks in a previous review. I was just told the minimum weekly rate is whopping $400. These are the same rooms that needed major renovations back in 2011. A couple years back in 2021 the rooms still needed renovations as I can see from newer pictures after 14 years my first time here the rooms are still needing major renovations today. I'm going to just get one night and post the rate with the room number and pictures on a future review.

I was reading a lot of comments and people keep talking negative about it. Well, what do you expect for $65 nowadays cheapest hotel room is for $165 and more so you get exactly what you paid for sure. the places rundown this place has been here for years and years and years and a lot of people go in and out so when you have dirty people live in it of course they’re not gonna take care of the place so it’s called wear and tear. definitely needs a lot of love and TLC, but you can’t complain you saw it online and you still decided to come here and then you have a nerve to complain, but the staff is really friendly.
