Cedar Cove

We were in town for a volleyball tournament at the Cedar Point Sports Center. The location was phenomenal to the Sports Center. Extremely close and easy to get to. Service is another story. Upon checking in a woman had to receive directions via her cell phone on how to check us in. The front lobby was 60 degrees, we're visiting in January. The breakfast area was cluttered with chairs and junk stacked almost to the ceiling. The continental breakfast was not provided. The parking lot was barely plowed, the entrance to the building and our room had several inches of snow in front of it, and the parking lot was a sheet of ice. Our "deluxe" room was a single full bed, not a queen. My reservation showed two queens, I was told I was incorrect. The heating barely kept the room warm. The water took

Stayed 1 night and got exactly what we were expecting for the price. A clean bed and a hot, but dribbly shower. There were some fruit flies in our room and our door did not fully seal closed. Floor may or may not have been swept and could use a mop, but we kept our socks on and listened to the nice sound of the train all night long. Looked a lot better than most of the other options for the same price

The location was very convenient, we were trying to head to Kelly’s Island and called around 9 p.m and luckily they had a room. Price was a little on the high end, $102, but worth it since we had a good overnight experience other than the train that passed every 30 minutes or so. The room was pretty clean, restroom was spotless besides the paint job done in the restroom, the air conditioner was noisy but worked great, the bed was perfect, and the customer service was excellent. The only complaint I have is with the floors. The floors were coated in dirt, not visible, but we were able to tell by the soles of our feet being a different color. Definitely needs a deep clean on that carpet. The train was a huge issue for my partner, being a light sleeper she couldn’t get great sleep. As a de
