We are checked in to our unit and I have to say I’m quite disappointed. We rent thru Vacasa a lot in Washington and Oregon because we know that they hold a high standard and understand that people who are traveling are doing so for pleasure. They want basic necessities for the area in which they are visiting. There is not even salt and pepper in the unit. These are not perishable and we didn’t buy any at the store upon arrival. We have 2 kids on the reservation. There are no sand toys, boogie boards or umbrellas. I have stayed in 8 different VRBO properties in Kailua Kona over the past 15 years and this is the only one that has nothing to help guests go to the beach. This unit should not be marketed to children because there aren’t even sand toys. It’s disappointing after traveling so far

Last minute Valentine's wknd getaway. Stayed in #225 (booked thru VRBO), end unit right above the parking. Outerside of the building & ceiling structure of the parking needs some work & better lightingn but the studio was just right! Pool, hot tub & bbq grill on site and small access to the public beach, little tide pool & saw a honu munching on some greens. Fully stocked with kitchen essentials, towels, beach gear (incl a small cooler); kitchenette, washer & dryer. No AC but there's ceiling & standing fans - we lucked out with not too humid temps and a great breeze. Be prepared for some night street noise (island cruisers) if the room door is open for ventilation & on Sundays the next door church services start at 730am - music carries over but NOT bothersome. The crashing waves mutes m

This is an ownership Condo complex managed by Castle so each condo is different. I got a good rate from Google via Castle website and called and booked over the phone directly with Castle. I had a pleasant experience booking with the agent for a "partial ocean view" 15 days before our trip. We are 2 adults and 1 6.5 yr old so on the phone we were promised a Queen bedroom with 1 sofa bed in living room.||||When we arrived, they first gave us a studio #368. This was ok for a couple. I went back to the front desk and they then gave me #367 which is a 1 bedroom apt which was what I was promised while booking. This modest apt is quite spacious for a family of 3 or even a couple with 2 kids. Adequate Amt of closet space. They call it "partial ocean view" since it is across the street but it has

We stayed in #211, Nov 2025 Excellent oceanfront location The location, view, and apartment itself are fantastic! We really enjoyed the sunsets and watching turtles on the shore below the balcony in the morning! The primary bedroom and living room are both visible from the ground at night - so you have to plan your use of lights at night. Internet speed could be better, and hoping tub in hall drains better for you. Second bedroom - you will want windows closed with AC at night because of street noise from Ali'i. This room has blackout curtains. All that said - this property is well-appointed and had just about everything we needed while there - other than groceries. Management was very responsive to concerns. We enjoyed it. Hope you do too!
