Castillo Inn, St Augustine, FL

This is the most disgusting hotel I have ever stayed at. I think we paid $130 for a night but if I knew what was to come I’d say this place is worth $30 max. There’s no way the room was cleaned prior to our arrival. The bed was made and that was about it. The fitted sheet was on inside out. There was a broken hanger on shelves and a used wash clothe hanging on the shower rod. The shower was wet as if someone had just used it. There were bugs flying all over the bathroom. There’s piss stains on the wall in the bathroom. There’s dirt all over the floor. The door does shut all the way and the bathroom windows are cracked. There’s a weird substance spilled in the mini fridge. Literally a complete and utter disgusting mess. Do not waste money here. I can’t even say you get what you pay for bc $

Hey there, I know it has been a long time to add a comment. The pictures posted on Hotel.com does not represent at all the property. The room was dirty, the bed not made, and I found a toe nail on the white sheets - it poked my back when I went to rest. The floors were dirty and the garbage can full. I know, I should have run to your office to report it all but I had driven 5 hours and wanted to rest. The only good thing about the hotel, it is location. I paid almost $200 for one night. I wish I can get my money back

Horrible experience! We went for the Night of Light's every hotel was either sold out or very expensive. So we landed at this dump. Room was filthy, towels were dirty, window broken with electrical tape holding it together. We found a syringe in the bathroom. One hanger, hole in the main door, bathroom door didn't close all the way. Sink wouldn't drain and there were cigarette burns in the comforter. We complained to Expedia. When we came back the hotel had locked us out. Went to the office and they called the police and said we checked out! All our things were still in the room!! Don't go to this place you will be sorry you did!

My kid and friends stayed in this hotel Dec. 26-28 2025. The hotel was disappointing to them especially for over $200 / night. They went out for the day and explored around the town & looked at the Christmas lights. Upon getting back, they noted that the hotel sold their parking spot by the room. (See the picture of the parking attendant). Then they noted a horrible sewage smell where water was coming out of the room next door. The smell followed them in their room. They noticed sewage looking / smelling water in the bath tub. They asked for a new room & the reply was no rooms at the Inn. They only offered to refund one night if they would leave. There was no offer to find another hotel or to go out the way to help them. It was a horrible experience....

This place is a complete dump. Made reservations got to the place and was never asked who we are or nothing. The lady just handed us a key and told us a room. when we opened the door it smelled so bad. The room was filthy and so was the bathroom. Bed smelled bad. Will never stay here. We ended up going to another hotel. STAY AWAY
